Making Charmant Shine
Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Due to the Corona crisis, all attended fairs were cancelled. That’s why the sixth largest eyewear manufacturer, the Charmant Group from Japan, asked for a solution – and we put together a spectacle: a digital fair.
The concept includes various interactive experiences and is completely unique and new on the market; no other eyewear manufacturer can convince his clients with such a digital brand experience.
The heart of the fair is the shopping area. With an included augmented reality feature customers can’t only have a close look on the eyewear designs, but also try them on themselves. In addition prospective customers can directly place their orders in face-to-face sessions with sales representatives. Personal contact is particularly important in order to stay in touch with clients, especially in Corona times.
Furthermore, the trade fair concept offers live training sessions, where opticians can extend their knowledge, as well as a large video area. Here, visitors can experience the collection highlights in several product films, which were produced primarily for this occasion.
To complement the nationally and internationally used digital fair concept we put together an advance communication package including print media and digital materials, such as online banners and social media posts, which spark curiosity for the event.
In addition, we created inserts for selected trade journals and direct-mailing invitations with a sensational augmented reality experience for the reader. By scanning the printed material with a phone, the event is teased with videos and animations in a new dimension.
The technical implementation was carried out together with our partners PP LIVE & getbaff.
